POPORCELAIN® independent artist brand specialising in contemporary porcelain jewellery, lovingly crafted by Kay Jiaqi Zhou in Copenhagen, Denmark.

At POPORCELAIN®, the focus isn't on diamonds or gemstones, but on the raw clay that is carefully shaped and transformed through a meticulous process. After a journey of design, experimentation, handcrafting, and firing, the result is a delicate and desirable piece of porcelain jewellery.

Each piece undergoes more than 15 hours of kiln firing at temperatures exceeding 1200°C, with most requiring two or three firings. The process also includes sketching, cooling, polishing, and assembling, making the creation of each final piece an incredibly time-consuming and thoughtful endeavour.

POPORCELAIN® products are entirely handcrafted,
ensuring that each piece is unique—no two are exactly alike.

"Clearly, if you compare my things with those of such firms as Tiffany, Boucheron and Cartier, of course you will find that the value of theirs is greater than that of mine. As far as they are concerned, it is possible to find a necklace in stock for one and a half million rubles. But of course these people are merchants and not artist-jewellers."
